Not sure what to do about a review? We'll once again I have no choice but to include my two cents. I don't know about the rest of the world but I spent a lot of time in the pre-DVD days recording a lot of my favorite flicks on VHS. Matter of fact, I have an entire closet full of old VHS movies and other recordings. So what, I'm just supposed to take them all out back and set a heaping pile of plastic ablaze because I don't have the time and money to convert everything to DVD or BLUERAY. Not only that but over the past 10 years or so, I only replaced my VCR a mere one time. As for my DVD player, well that's another story. It seems like the more expensive the unit gets, the shorter period of time it lasts in my entertainment center. I usually end up throwing it out the window because it skips, freezes or hops during my favorite scenes. Also VHS tapes are now very cheap and the price of storage has plummeted like a skydiver without a parachute and all my digital data, including downloaded movies can be loaded on a USB drive. When I did have to replace my old 2 head VHS player, I did some research and concluded that Sony's SLV-N900 was the biggest bang for my buck. Several years later, it still resides in my entertainment center as good as the day it was bought. If you need a VCR to review, this is the unit for you. Thanks for reading and many regards to you all.
